NarasimvahD&D Encounter: Deep under the city streets, a nefarious cult works concocting a mind control serum to enslave the population to their will. The chief architect of this nefarious project, Master Ruehnar, a ratfolk alchemist and vampire, commands the mindcontrolled cultists under him to work night and day at producing his serum. He has no real interest in serving the cult's whims, only in obtaining a constant supply of fresh meat to slake his unending thirst for blood.RemixNarasimvahD&D Encounter: Deep under the city streets, a nefarious cult works concocting a mind control serum to enslave the population to their will. NarasimvahD&D Encounter: A lone minotaur barges into the quiet little village where your party is staying, and proceeds to wave a large book around and demand of the locals in broken Common that he wants to "learn about your CULTURE!" while grinning like an idiot. He seems earnest and introduces himself as "Filet Mignon", but his unwillingness to take no for an answer, along with his massively muscular frame, intimidating demeanour, and the giant sword strapped to his back all give the clear impression that he would be a real threat if provoked... NarasimvahD&D Character Story - "Filet Mignon" the Minotaur Anthropologist, and his adoptive kids "Short Rib" and "Patty" - After being convinced by a travelling bard to leave his tribe and see the world (and incidentally giving him his meaty moniker), Filet spent years seeking "NEW PEOPLE AND CULTURES!" to encounter and learn about. Along the way, he picked up a couple of strays who had lost their parents in a wartorn land. He had intended to find the orphans a safe place to live, but they quickly grew attached to the gentle brute, refused to be parted from him and insisted on taking adventurer names like his. The boy came to be known as "Short Rib", acting as his squire, learning to fight, and even fending off the occasional kobold or goblin attack. The girl took the name "Patty" and learned magic to help with the upkeep of their camp and gear. Together they even helped Filet to convince the people of new places they visited that the intimidating-looking bull meant no harm and really did just want to learn about their culture, all of which of course made Filet very happy and very proud of them. Under his protection, they would get to see the world and go on to be successful adventurers in their own right, and eventually return to their homeland to reclaim their birthrights and put an end to the civil strife that had taken their parents and destroyed so many other lives. Filet wrote many travel journals and memoirs that would become an invaluable source for academics of the social sciences and politicians seeking to forge new nations, and would continue his quest in search of new civilisations even into his old age. He was last seen crossing the mountains alone in search of an elusive nomadic Goliath Tribe rumoured to live in those parts, and would never be seen again. Perhaps he perished in those mountains, or perhaps he finally decided to put himself out to pasture and spent his final days in peaceful seclusion, writing his final memoirs before peacefully passing away in his sleep, dreaming of who he might meet in the world beyond and learning about their culture too!1 Comment12RemixNarasimvahD&D Character Story - "Filet Mignon" the Minotaur Anthropologist, and his adoptive kids "Short Rib" and "Patty" - After being convinced by a travelling bard to leave his tribe and see the world (and incidentally giving him his meaty moniker), Filet spent years seeking "NEW PEOPLE AND CULTURES!" to encounter and learn about. NarasimvahThe little Tiefling and the Minotaur - A young tiefling girl walks fearlessly down her path, the reassuring clomp of her protector's cloven feet filling her heart with courage. Before meeting him, she saw her horns as a source of shame, but now she holds her head up high and carries herself with the same inexorable determination of a bull charging towards its target.Remix once12RemixNarasimvahThe little Tiefling and the Minotaur - A young tiefling girl walks fearlessly down her path, the reassuring clomp of her protector's cloven feet filling her heart with courage.
