A larval cosmic jellyfish floats quietly in the darkness of space, a smaller and more delicate version of its massive, mature counterpart. Its translucent, teardrop-shaped body pulses with soft bioluminescent hues of violet and pale green, casting an ethereal glow into the void around it. The creature's central core is barely visible, a faint, swirling mass of energy that seems to fuel its gentle, rhythmic movements.
Around its body, a halo of thin, wispy tendrils drifts like filaments, reaching out and retracting as if tasting the emptiness of space. These tendrils are far finer and shorter than those of the adult, but they emit soft pulses of light, blinking rhythmically in a manner that suggests early communication or scanning of the environment.
