An, the runic battlemaid. She is a maid in service of the local lord. She is part of the local lord's plan to adopt orphans and turn them into dependable servants. Part interest and part charity, this plan consists in training and raising young orphansin various trades. to instill a sense of loyalty, the orphans have a certain degree of freedom and can ask to be taught about a wide range of topics and jobs. Being part of this program she has been trained as a maid since young but everyone failed to see her genious intelect, even herself. She frequented the library and studied magic and runes all by herself. Because she learned fast and easily she mistakenly thinks that everybody can understand and use runes as easily as her. The combination of lack of comon sense and friends created the situation that one pf the most powerful mages of the country works as a simple maid, using her free time to hunt monsters for materials and reserch runes and enchantments.
